I have thee comets that I got on Sunday that are about 8 months old. We got them on Sunday and no eggs mon/tues. however last two days we had single egg on the ground. When my wife went to check today she saw one of the hens coming out of tiny space that exists between platform coop sits on and ground. One laying on the ground is too plump to fit under platform

Checked in space and there were 4 eggs that the other two girls have laid. Sweet!! Question though how do I get them to lay in nesting box INSIDE coop, or do I nix that idea and put nesting box outside??
