I do but I'm just counting the ones that will lay.The other ones are to old to lay.

Oh I see well then I've been getting 6/10 then to exclude all the new pullets that are not yet laying and cockerels

15/23 yesterday.

I have a bunch of hens molting and I am counting them. But I am not counting the one that is setting eggs. This is her first time setting. And my first time hatching eggs since back on the farm when my mother kept chickens. I hope I get some new chicks.

If not I might buy some day old chicks this Spring.
