How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

The adoption depends on one thing, Quickster...if I feed you like that will you lay eggs for me?

Well... no. But if you adopt me you adopt my chickens and they will lay eggs for you. Although from what I've seen of your fridge, you don't need more eggs.

Well, it has been over 100 for most days this week. Far too hot for me. Amazing that the chickens lay any eggs at all. Today was one egg, about 85 grams had one from Goldie, the one who laid this, that was over jumbo size, and ends were like near flat. It weighed about 125 grams Used it for scrambled eggs, along with one from Red, who lays large to extra large.
the jumbo would have been a double yolk, but, it had a small fetus instead.
managed to get that out of the bowl, only lost a bit of white.
Other than that, was a reasonable scramble.

Now, an odd question.
has anyone had a fetus show up in an egg, when there has not been a rooster for well over a year?
the Roo I raised managed to fry himself.

I'm really sorry, but the adoption is off.....you passed the "cluck" to others and the deal was you had to lay them.
