It finally rained today. They looked so funny soaking wet. I thought they would surely go into the coop but no they stayed out in the rain most of the morning and afternoon. Just a few stayed in the coop.

2/4 today. My little Andy (the newly laying pullet) has layed 5 eggs in 5 days!!!!! Little girl deserves a day off! But she's a determined little darling. Same time every morning, same spot. What a good little girl!

By my count we should be at 11/15 - but there are 12 in today's carton so I can only guess DD must have collected an egg at some point during the day while out visiting with the chickens. She is home from college for the weekend and must have missed the chickens.
