Been stormy (lightning and thunder) night & day yesterday, does that affect their laying? I only got 6 - least they've done since laying.

I understand your dilemma, I suffer from the chicken disease too.  It's incurable.....I sold half my flock to Kendrain, and then acquired/hatched 16 more chicks, and have 32 more eggs in the incubator.....I'm not sure how this happened............  

And when I picked them up I said I didn't want to mess with chicks right now. And I have 40 eggs in an incubator right now. Oh man.
