Temp I was out of town all day but it was 84F degrees by 9:30 PM when I got home .

23 out of 34 layers yesterday. One step away from our 2 dz per day goal.

With one mama raising 4 babies and 2 juvenile pullets, maybe I'll need a bigger basket someday!

I forgot to add that I got 10 eggs today.

I thing most of the problem with the softer egg shells is the ladys are eating way too many bugs and there is always plenty of oyster shells out for the ladys to nibble on but the girls really leave it alone unless there are some kind of bugs in the oyster shell feeder so I have to mix crushed egg shells or some oyster into some cooked rice and hen scratch and the pan is empty in less then an hour .

Well, just went out to check the girls and the next few weeks should be very interesting. I went from only a few red faces to an explosion of red and dropped waffles overnight. Eggs should be here soon!!!

4 before collected. Then grabbed another 3 eggs, our chicken boy accidentally dropped one. Which would've made it 10 today. We got so close to a dozen:/ just patience. So far we have 8 we have in the basket and scaled. Our darker browns are getting larger every day! Running large now and EE even are getting closer to medium.
ADDED: got another EE egg tonight, on the floor:/ go figure
