How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4 Hens. 1 won't be close to old enough until December at the earliest. 2 eggs today, 1 yesterday. I'm sure its the season.

My White Rock has only laid 4 eggs and has decided I guess she's not interested.

I have a coop of 7 EE hens that were laying just fine, but then they decided to molt. Now most of them are finished molting, but still haven't gotten back to laying eggs. I think they have decided to take the winter off

Temp cold winds in the mid 70's all day and my blood has not thickened up yet from the summer so what happened to then 120F temps not that I miss them .




One duck is sitting really good almost never see her anymore even during feeding time

And she is not moving or making noise when I get close to the nest .

Ohhh! I hope no one is stealing your eggs. Do you have a trail camera or something you can set out and hopefully catch whoever/whatever is stealing from you?

14/18 eggs - we have rain, sleet, snow and sunny day and snow again all lumped together in one day. Ohio weather was as exciting as a moody pregnant wife.

My daughter is up in Ohio at college and was complaining to me today about the snow flurries! We were suppose to get some here in Missouri too, but it never materialized.

Huh! My copper Marans hens think the same way as long as their "subjects" of entourage are laying, they don't have to. Snobby little royalties, they know their dark brown eggs are priced and sought after.

61 Fahrenheit yesterday, 37 today, wind chill 20s. Got to put up clear plastic over hardware cloth around bottom of raised coop to block the wind. 5/5 today. GC

I had 7 eggs out of 10 that are laying. I had my second small, blue egg. I was working outside and hoped to catch the layer, but no luck. She must be fast. I have 3 Crested Cream Legbars and 2 Easter Eggers that could be responsible. I'm guessing it's one of the legbars since they have such red combs and waddles, but I'm not sure which one. I have a bunch of girls that have just reached laying age and are constantly checking out the nesting boxes. Hummmm... it's a mystery.

@karenerwin I have a good idea about my egg snatcher she is about 5' 7" tall and about 160 pounds and lives just down the road and graying blond hair and in her mid 50's or so and spends a few week out of every year in the loony pen .
