This was my collection for today. Out of 36 hens.

looks nearly identical to our carton today but ours is out of 26. You've got a great looking carton (I figured ~10 did NOT lay)

How are things ? I am coping well think I knew what she wanted and had my chance to say goodbye and
she knew I loved her still tear up to think life without her

Just found out today that my dad is NOT a candidate for the mitral valve clamp, so there is nothing they can do for him other than try to make him as comfortable as possible. The doctor said if someone in his condition lived another 12 months, it would be amazing. So, I am going to do my best to enjoy every minute that I have left with him, and try not to get upset with my mom, who I know isn't always grounded in reality.

27 eggs today. -23C last night, -18C right now with wind.

Not sure what happened today. These are the ones that made the cut for the exception of the egg I forgot in the nest box. It'll be frozen hard tomorrow morn but I wasn't going back out in that darn wind just to get one forgotten egg. I'll thaw it and feed it back.

karenerwin-Hugs and prayers. While you are spending time with him, if he is up to it, have him tell you the history of him. When my mother was in her last months, she was more open to share the littlest things that I had never known...amazing journey I cherish always.
