picked up a free chicken tractor got the 4 silkies had to figure out a covered run this is better than that did manage to get 3 eggs today

Yeah, I had it easy compared to others. Schools were closed in my town yesterday, other towns still closed today.
I put the wind block on the Southside of the coop, as the wind was blowing the rain under the coop.
I plugged in the water heater for my girls, as we have a frost advisory tonight.
Got an egg when I let them out to forage in afternoon. 5 yesterday.

We got six eggs from our ten pullets. At least eight have laid now. I'm loving the brand new olive egg we got today! New colors are such a wonderful surprise!

5/5 today. Since the chicks are running all over the girl who used to nest on the floor rather than a box is now using a box. I bet that girl will NEVER go broody

I did manage three but took shaving from nesting box of in new coop actually had 2 brown eggs one of the birds from Auction looks like a Barred Rock may be could be my new layer and one from main coop
