two days, collected 12 eggs from 8 laying hens. 2 are double yolk xx large eggs from my RIR
Super Chicken!

not too worried may keep me us a few months but do not have to eat store bought until mine are old enough to lay

Blondie left me an egg later in the day. 5 yesterday.
5 today, one of them was a dented thin shell, fed to hens.
My girls yesterday, foraging through wet leaves, for salamanders, worms and bugs. Two of my girls don't like worms, WHAT? But they all like bugs. GC

@GC-Raptor, most of my chickens are no longer interested in worms. It's almost like there are so many worms in the area, that they no longer are interested in eating them!

Mine still love mealworms, but they no longer show any interest in earthworms, and I have some big, juicy ones in my yards!

mine jump at the bag I get 5 lbs about every other months off amazon I split those in gallon bags I have to disguise the bags of they are leaping at me

4/5 so far today, one girl in nest box at 9am. Don't know who? Rain and wind at the time, just wanted to get back inside.
Many schools closed. Branches and trees blocking roads. Power went out for an hour just after 1am. Called power company twice, automation system overwhelmed, 61 minute wait first call, 66 minutes second call. I just hung up both times. Many still without power, was 177 thousand at the peak.
Got two months of rain in a week. Thinking of changing my profile location to say northwest coast. GC
