Yep. I think mine started to lay about 9 days ago or so and started at 1.3 oz and now are 1.6 plus or minus a bit but they are awesome!!!

I got 9 eggs yesterday and a new chick hatched in the incubator. I was going to slip it under the one broody that hasn't hatched any chicks, but in the afternoon she was off her nest. In the evening I moved her and the nest to the broody box. She seemed fine with it, but when I went out an hour later to slip the chick under her she was back off the nest. Apparently she was NOT happy with me for moving her and her nest!
So I slipped the chick under the Momma that had 4 chicks of various ages. This morning, all seems to be good, except with the hen whose nest I moved.
Yes, luckily I had read that here some time ago, so I was prepared for the puny things. They start small but the eggs will get bigger.
Hello!
I have 6 chickens, they all were hatched in Feb and have started laying one by one in the past couple weeks.
5 eggs today, so one from everyone, minus the EE who hasn't started laying yet!

Prepare yourself for the occasional puny egg even after they have been laying for some time. 3 days ago I got a 30g egg from Mellori. She is a 2015 bird and typically lays in the high 60s, low 70's.Yes, luckily I had read that here some time ago, so I was prepared for the puny things.
how many you got under her had 12 but under 4 Silky 9 hatched one died coming out of the shell
