How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

@Spartan22 Kris, I managed to get some pics of my little black copper Marans:

What do you think? Just realised I didn't get any of the blue Marans for you - I'll go down in a bit and try again!

I think it looks like a chicken ;) I don't know anything about Marans so I can't offer an opinion on the "quality" of your chick.

When Zorra raised the 2015 chicks, her "I'm a momma" switch went to OFF! the day she laid an egg. Wanted nothing to do with the chicks and even chased them off treats where she had been calling them over just the day before.

Sure is! Not sure if my girls will molt this year, the 3 born November I'm mainly thinking of? Guessing the chicks won't either.
The chicks won't. I would GUESS the November girls will. I've only had spring chicks so I don't have experience.

Only 1 brought in saw a hen in the bottom so hard to say how many there was another in a top but did not take it to encourage others.. the one I did take was at the edge of another top box

I think may have 5 pullets of 9 great odds in my view.. start downsizing the silky are going to Auction Friday next along with the lone survivor marans that has come out a cockerel along with the 2 hatchery EE pullet I picked up to keep it company then it will be just 9 marans let them all grow up by them probably will loose the cuckoo marans as they are bit tweaky.. only 5 eggs today

:celebrateI got my first egg! From the girls I rescued, I would like to think they are saying thank you :yesss:
The newbies are making my flock of pellets look bad
Fabulous! How old are your pullets?

Only just came in we have been hunting for Doris the Slightly Dim Silkie and one of her chicks - DH spotted her holed up under one of our broody coops (with 2 eggs) he couldnt' see if the chick was with her or not, I'm severely hoping so - she is a lovely little pullet.
