How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

Out of my 9 hens, a few of them just started laying a week ago. I’m getting 3 eggs a day rather consistently. Not sure how many are actually laying. Lol

That is great @Old Ben. Most likely more than 3 are laying, it would be unusual for them to crank out one per day.

4 today. Sold 2 dozen to friends. They are happy my girls are back on the job.

17 Eggs Today! I’m not going lie, with the temp tremendous drop tonite (low of -5 and high of 0) I’m worried for my chickens since I got over 30 that have never been cooped up on daytime worst yet for 2 days. Thinking of leaving the pop door open before I head to work tomorrow.

I would. Leave the pop door open that is. If they don't want to be outside, they will stay in, but otherwise, why not let them decide?

Same here, Penny. I only got 5 today. Yesterday I got 10. School has been canceled for tomorrow because we are supposed to have temps of 30 below 0 with the windchill! -4 without the windchill.

We are in the 50's sun looked girls over and all combs still red molts are over no good reason at all course maybe it is lack of rain
