How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

How old is she? Are her comb and face getting red? Other than not laying is she acting normal? I wouldn't be too concerned yet, some birds just are NOT winter layers. The EL that laid today last laid 9/19 and her "sister", who has yet to lay, last laid on 9/9. I get the impression that Exchequer Leghorns aren't the egg machines that the whites are supposed to be. I didn't get whites because I have 2 White Rocks, like to have a large variety of colors "on the hoof" and in the egg carton.
Henneth is 13 months old, officially a hen, and when she started laying at 5 months she was the only one that laid every single day for 3 months. She acts totally normal, eats drinks and poops normally. Her feathers are lovely, her comb is bright. Maybe I'm just anxious waiting for her to begin to lay now that days are lengthening.

Mine have stopped laying now I got 5 today from some barred rock I brought up from auction 1 from silky may be taking allot of birds to auction soon

I can't send you ideas on a post card, I don't have your address ;)
I have several birds that do this. Start back up in January for a week or two then decide they are too early and wait another month or more.
:lau:lau:lau That makes me feel better - maybe she is just being like your girls - pleased it isn't unheard of!
Did you switch feed?
How old is the feed you are using?
Are they getting increased treats?
It sounds like you free range......maybe they have a hidden nest?
I always switch feed, depending what shop I have a chance to get to etc, if they have organic on offer I'll get that etc. I've always done that and they are great and just eat what they have, no fussy chickens around here! They get through a big bag every week so feed is always fresh. Treats remain the same, really only a few scrap veg and my little ones toast crusts and a handfull of sunflower seeds once a week or so. yes we do free range most of the time - as a minimum would be a few hours in the afternoon but mainly all day and thier 'run' is pretty big - 30 odd m2 (over 300ft2 I think in your terms). Not noticed any eggs around and i've been in most areas of the garden doing my pre spring pruning.
Do you have sneaky egg eating predators?
Pretty sure not - my coop is totally hardcloth covered and not noticed anything odd.

4 so far today so maybe just a coinciding of them all having thier days off on the same day

Today 4 from 6.
However, the first one was waiting for me when I opened the door this morning. Paper thin shell, not ripped or pecked on. Probably stepped or sat on and squished. Basically the top was pushed down and inside the bottom almost intact but wrong side out. Contents were under and around the shell. I think I found it before they discovered the tasty bits. It was the odd shape like I've been getting lately almost daily. Pinky brown, large, elongated, with a pointy end. I offer oyster shell calcium in a small feeder always full plus I give them back their egg shells.

Then it would be second up from bottom pecking order. Henneth, the 13 month old Easter Egger that hasn't laid since labor day, is low chook on the totem pole. Lol. Now if I could only figure out if its a Barred Rock, who should be laying brown eggs, or a Buff Orpington, who DOES lay brown eggs but, hey, somebody is laying pinkish eggs.:idunno

Usually a barred has mildly brown egg the eggs in the carton are barred rock eggs
I only have one marans that lays View attachment 1678515
The paler ones are kinda like this one. I've suspected it was one of my BR. I see your Easter Egger(s) is laying. Wish mine would!:barnie I really want a maran hopefully this spring. Are yours really dark? I don't see any dark in your carton.
