18 eggs today, but one was just yolk all over the other eggs and in the bottom of the nest box.

Been getting about 16 chicken eggs a day here and 9 quail. Not sure why the chickens are on strike, might go on a butchering rampage and get rid of freeloaders.

43 yesterday and 38 Eggs Today, sold 10 cockerels today (5 twelve week olds and 5 seven week olds) at an auction.

Have 10 pullets and 3 cockerels growing up 6 from the main coop

19 eggs today. I have started butchering my meat chicks. I had 8 of them. 1 of them died from an infection of some sort. I butchered 1 2 days ago and another 1 today. I had hoped to get a couple of them done today, but that did not happen. I can only do about 2 a day before my back starts killing me.

Ya Karen osteo arthritis gets mine daily use allot of lidocaine but did want to add my 2 silky eggs

I'll be back on here Sunday night or Monday. We are leaving in about an hour to drive 3 hours down to my son's house to help him build a coop ( read that as buy what ever supplies wood, screws, ect. that we don;t bring down and he doesn't already have laying around and then help him build the thing )
I'm almost 100% positive that we will also be building this in the rain! We will come home some time Sunday afternoon/evening because my hubby and I both have to teach Summer School on Monday.
