How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Only 10 today. The leghorn that hasn’t laid in many weeks went into a separate coop by herself tonight. That never bodes well. We’ll see what she does tomorrow. Sigh.

Good news day. 14 eggs today.
One was from Angel! Her first in forever. She laid it as she exited the nest box and it immediately broke. But she laid!

Lily entered the nest box a few times right before roost time. I think she’ll start laying again in a few days.

8 or 9 eggs that I was able to collect. I did smuggle 2 white leghorn chicks under the Barred Rock broody and pulled out 4 eggs from under her. I know she still has more eggs under her because I numbered the 4 that she had under her and none of the eggs I pulled out were numbered. I didn't want to keep digging for eggs since I had tucked the chicks under her and she was busy trying to peck me to death!

So 7 here isn't that just a dandy they got meal worms I get more eggs

This is the first time I’ve gotten 7 for 7 from my pullets this year! Just waiting on an EE to start now. These are from 3 White Leghorn, 3 Speckled Sussex, and 1 Production Blue.

11 today. Lily and Angel spent time in the nest boxes but didn’t end up laying. Fingers crossed for tomorrow for them.
