Annnnd the molting has begun. Black feathers everywhere under the roosts. I
That they molt fast and thoroughly.

Poor crooked beaked bird is a hot mess! She could use a new coat before winter.

It turns out I got two pullet eggs today. The Welsummer laid this afternoon! These are my eggs from the last three days.

Oh that's terrific, 7 out of 8! My last pullet to lay is an EE, she's making me wait! I hope her eggs are as pretty as that nice green one! Congratulations!

we had to go into Olympia this morning with the car thunder storm started Chehalis
will give it time to drift off before I go to the coop
