How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

8 eggs today. Made an apple pie today. Also went to the doctor and started on a Z-pac and prednisone. Hopefully I will start feeling better tomorrow.

Five today, one was pretty darn big.
Four pullets should be laying any day now.
Big egg was 105g, that hen will never have a decent personality and I can't blame her.

I got three! Still waiting for the other two pullets to start. My brown leghorn has been squatting for weeks, her face and comb are a lovely red. Yesterday she was rearranging the furniture in the nest boxes and this morning I saw her eating oyster shells. Thought maybe today was the day but NO!

Today I got one egg! It was a perfect little white one from the leghorn! I guess the furniture was right finally, lol!

Only 6 eggs today

ETA: found 1 more (pullet egg) at lock up, so that makes it 7 today. I am hoping that these new layers will carry me through the winter with eggs!

8 today one new layer, she literally popped an egg out at feeding time.
She came to dinner chest up, butt down layed then ate with her people.
So three more pullets to go.
