Congrats to your son Karen!

2 today

$1400 more to fix the leaking part and recharge it with freon. I’m livid but also powerless. Grr. Sigh...
I feel your pain, just a wee bit cheaper MAYBE. Option 1, replace the refrigerator - $1,200 and near as I can tell it would be the exact same machine made by Whirlpool 6 years ago (based on the pictures). Option 2, pay up to $800 to test and if it is the compressor, replace it. If it is a leak they can find, they might be able to fix that but apparently some of the lines are buried in the insulation or something and aren't accessible.

I went with option 2 because I just HATE to dump all that into the landfill if it can be fixed.

Lucky you! I love places like that.
Well the AC got fixed yesterday evening and it’s still working today. The water system pitched a fit yesterday morning - had dark brown water coming out of all my faucets! OMG. Hubby ran the regeneration cycle and that cleared it up thankfully. So he’s thinking maybe a brown out caught it mid regeneration and glitched it. That - the brown water- has never happened before so I’m not sure I believe that but have no other idea what may have happened. I can’t take anymore of this crap!

I did move the money tree plant back to its place by the front door yesterday afternoon. I had put it out on the back patio while we were gone the 3 weeks. Maybe now the ju-ju will be back to bring money IN instead of having it go out! Lol!

Run is looking a bit like the feather factory the past few days so I guess the molting continues.

Alright so you have about 14 of laying age in the main. Some are older, some are molting. But NO eggs?? Wow. I’d be freaked out a bit.
