Wow, you better incubate those eggs, you'll have the only chickens around that lay regardless of gender!!!!One of them came from one of my grow out boy pens! Guess one of my boys is laying now......![]()

Stunning!
It is a Coturnix Quail that laid the infamous egg!
But it was put into the carton for incubation in the next week or so!
She was moved from the "kill" pen into a "breeder/layer" pen! So her future looks brighter since she laid that egg.
My eggs today....

Chicken, quail, whatever. If the males lay eggs, you are gonna be rich! It pretty much doesn't pay to be male in the domestic animal used for food world. She was moved from the "kill" pen into a "breeder/layer" pen! So her future looks brighter since she laid that egg.![]()
Thanks, I know right? If I have a roo that is too ornery or aggressive he is taking a 1~way trip to freezer camp! The quail especially, the roos can literally be replaced in a month or less if I have eggs already in the incubator! Dummies!Chicken, quail, whatever. If the males lay eggs, you are gonna be rich! I really like the layout of the eggs in that picture, very nice!
