That's funny, cause we just had one of our not-too-frequent snowstorms and the DDs found 5 eggs today.

Our first 5 egg day ever! We have 11 hens, 1 is about 8 months old and the others are 21 weeks.

there all messed up this month havent got one for a month and switching around and introducing a new rooster this weekend theres another couple days!

1 last week. None so far this week. But I think 4 hens are going to start laying again and 1 or 2 pullets are going to lay their first eggs in a couple weeks.

I got 2 eggs from my OEGBs its about time.

I get 30-36 eggs a day from 40 laying hens. I have all winter. No lights, no heaters, just good old fashioned love.

Okay, maybe the grains and free ranging helps some. But I like to think it is because I praise them when I gather eggs.
