Today I got 16 eggs from 18 hens. That is the most eggs I have gotten so far.

they were fighting over the nests so I couldnt count yet, got 5 yesterday, 1 Belgian D'Anver
1 Cornish
3 Cochin's
1 Easter Egger
1 White Rock
so maybe they are all going to lay today.

I've been getting 11-14 eggs a day from 26 hens. I have a couple that haven't started laying yet, 1 that is broody and about 8 that are half bald and still in molt (how long does a heavy molt last?) since November.

I finally got a polish egg!!!!!!!!!

I tried to open it VERY carefully to chick fertility and just made a mess so I couldn't tell
