I got 5 eggs from 4 hens and 3 pullets. One was a baby pullet egg! She started this week and has lain 4 days in a row. I think that's great! I don't want 7 eggs everyday but the first day I get all 7 eggs, I will do a happy dance

My girls seem to be picking up a little. 7 today, from 13 hens. My Cochins carried us all through the winter (my Brahmas, sadly, don’t seem to be great layers), but my Marans and Jersey Giants seem to have started warming up. 6 dozen in the fridge, haven’t been giving them away, too much going on to remember. Gotta do something with them soon!

Several of my hens have decided to molt plus I’ve lost 2 hens in the past 7 to 10 days ( 1 disappeared and 1 died). But it’s still disappointing to see lots of your numbers going up while mine are going down.
