11 one broke soft taken out of the box ..
Birds are not eating the oyster ? different brand bought when I could not get any pandemic to blame.
Another one was brought in quite soft but useable

Glitches happen. You can try giving them egg shells also. I have mine on layers feed and still get one once in awhile.

I had the same issue a while back. I feed layer feed, oyster in the scratch that I give daily and crushed egg shells. It all worked out eventually.

I got 2 eggs! One of the pullets is laying now! The other is from my hen who started molting at the end of August, and finished up. So... Maybe I am done buying eggs ....?

Question: All my big girls are molting. Do I need to take saddles off the ones that have them? Will the saddles impede new feather growth?

I would think the saddles would be painful during molting? I honestly don't know though, I've never used them before

I have 2 Wyandotte that didn’t take the wear and tear very well. 1 EE also showed signs of wear but she bounced back. The other 2 not so much. They needed their little chicken dresses. Ima sell them to my rooster guy but not sure if someone wants to buy a chicken with no feathers on their back.
