How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have 2 Wyandotte that didn’t take the wear and tear very well. 1 EE also showed signs of wear but she bounced back. The other 2 not so much. They needed their little chicken dresses. Ima sell them to my rooster guy but not sure if someone wants to buy a chicken with no feathers on their back.
To help feather growth feed higher protein.

I’ve got to ask. How are crows getting to yours eggs? Do they just lay wherever in the outdoors? Crows would dread the day they started taking my eggs.
Our girls are free range during the day. I let them out about 7:30 every morning. They've decided they don't want the boxes in the shed and would rather have the boxes that the crows can get in easily. We've tried to stop them but they just keep on coming.

Haven't had much to brag about in a long time. I guess my hens are getting too old. I am only getting 1/8 eggs per day now, sometimes 2/8, but sometimes nothing. My hens more or less stopped laying this summer, their third summer, but we went through a drought this year and I wonder if the steady heat (even for Minnesota) was too much for them. They still have not recovered. If I don't see egg production improvement soon, I might not carry them over our winter. In any case, I'm planning on new a flock come spring.

Some breeds don't lay often and molting, and short daylight hours will slow chickens down also.
