I collected 4 of 10 but think there was 5. I have one red sexlink that often lays thin shelled or shell-less eggs. One of the ones I collected was covered with broken egg and I found a dried up membrane in the shavings. I think she laid but t was broken by the next hens to use the box. I have one Black Copper Marans and a black Cochin Banty that like to occupy the same box at the same time.

4/3.... They changed where they lay now (must have missed and egg yesterday or it laid late yesterday evening after I had grabbed them), must have found it to be warmer, doesn't help that the other boxes get all their bedding dug out of them by an up and coming hen.

1/3 and I grabbed it up quick..so cold today, could have froze in seconds

6/10 today but one was cracked I think one stepped on it so I threw it back to them in the outside pen and they gobbled it up.

My 2 girls took a long break of about 2 1/2 months of no eggs at all but have now started up again giving me 2 eggs a day regardless of how cold it is.
