3 for 3 yesterday and today. Glad to see them all laying, after 5 days in a row of 2 eggs I was getting a little concerned. I have also noticed that the egg size has declined slightly. Use to be all extra large, then switched to just large, and now I am getting some of both.

4/10. The Marans are laying but still waiting for the ford blue or blue green ons from my EE and EE Ameraucana.

Thanks! They are not super dark as far as Marans eggs go. Some are much darker.

Beautiful!! I have a BCM x Barred Rock hen that has just started laying...


She's only been laying for around 4 weeks... the 6 eggs on the right are hers, with the 2 in the middle she laid in the last 3 days.
