How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

We are up to 6-8 eggs a day now! So nice having fresh eggs all the time! :yiipchick

2/3 !!! We're doing better I suspect it'll be awhile until the last of my BR's lays as she appears to be farther behind in maturity than her sisters.

I'm really happy to see this picture. I have 6 pullets, two of which are BR. I have figured out which eggs three of the chickens lay and I thought I knew which ones my BR were laying. I know you can have different shade eggs within the same breed but I get two light light brown eggs and I thought they were the BR eggs. They are the same color as your eggs so that makes me more positive.

only 1/2 again today not sure who stopped laying...but one the plus side everyone else is singing and squatting evry time I come near them.

Yesterday my ladies gave me 14 eggs for the first time! A week ago I found the first white egg, and this mornng made it three days in a row that the Brown Leghorns have produced one. No way to tell if it's the same one but they are slightly larger in size now.

Color me happy!!

I got a full dozen today! It is the first time I have gotten1 eggs in 1 day. I guess I will up my laying hens to 16. I have a total of 20, but not all of the pullets have started laying yet.

Total - 68 eggs in six days all from 24 hens. Yesterday I added three more hens. So maybe they'll improve. Haha. I think they are actually doing pretty good.
