How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5/8 today. Very good, but I know I got 3 slacking!!! Weather has been lied as of late, so we'll see what happens as it gets cooler.

I got 2 today!!! I made them stay in their own house a d I found one in the nesting box. Small one but it's hard. Yahooooooo! So now j wonder if they were laying in my yard somewhere

1 again yesterday and one still playing house in the nest box!

On the stupid part: the light in the coop isn't working as of yesterday. Not sure how to fix it as I have replaced the whole light fixture, checked extension cords etc.. and hubby doesn't get back home until Saturday to help me fix it. I was in the coop at dark last night and some evil eyes from the chickens trying to roost way too early!

Only 6/15 today. I've been using an old car battery for my 12V lighting system and it has a "dead" cell (the reason it's not still in the car). I replaced it with an SLA battery so it should get better.
On the "bright" (see what I did there?) side, When I checked on momma Orpington, I saw two of her eight eggs pipping!

Looks like I'll be moving momma and eggs into their own brooder "room" tomorrow!

Woo hoo! Need pictures after the big event!! I got 6/9....silly girls! On a bright note, Agatha ventured outside the coop with Scout today....

3 out of 4 yesterday (Thursday). Only one of my BA's laid on Wednesday so I'm guessing she's the one who took yesterday off.
