9 chicken egg's before noon ....


Momma goose brought out three Goslings this morning so the yard was full of excitement and upon checking three goslings were in the water with nine adults around them all squawking

Sold 7 chicks today, have 7 more (already reserved) and two eggs left, one pipped.
Set 12 more under a broody Black Australorp. Will set more tomorrow, trying to meet some of the local demand!

6 eggs from 8 hens.....2 littles not ready to lay till july

Well... 6/6/7 .... Got another girl gone Brody... Just had 1 come out.... She's finaly laying again and now another decides to go sitting on a nest....

That's ok I guess... Just don't tell hubby.... I've got 6 2 day olds running around the brooder inside and another 23 eggs going into lockdown tomorrow morning...

The next group is a friends. She's paying me to hatch them. $.50 per set... Another $.50 per hatchling. Works for me. And most importantly... If nothing hatches I'm still good. She stored them wrong and knows it... Many were poop covered as well so if only a few hatch she's ok with that...
