How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I would think they should have started laying by now? Are they free range? If so I would start looking around for possible nest site. Had that happen to me last year, found the nest with about a dozen eggs in it. Now I'm always checking under the bushes looking for nesting places. Just a thought!

15 out of 28 birds. I can't even begin to break it down because I have no idea which ones are actually laying. I do know Daphne hasn't laid in quite some time.

Only 8 from 14. I restricted 9 hens ranging while I enlarge their area into the woods & they have only been giving me about 4 eggs a day. I think they are protesting!

5 out of 17 yesterday and today...my first girl started laying two weeks ago yesterday and has only missed 2 days. I have 8 nest boxes and they all like the same one.

6 egg's from the control group

2 egg's from the free range group

Temp 112 F degrees

with clear sky's and a 5 Mph wind in the evening

I have 5 RIRs now (rip Margret) but one is REALLY blonde.....I've caught her laying twice and they look like this. Could she be another breed?
