9/12- 22 wks olds, one of the RIR got out yesterday and nowhere to be found, so bummed out

Yesterday was the 1st day I got 14 out of 14! Everyone laid an egg!

Temp 101 F degrees with calm winds till evening

I got three Molten Houdan chicks hatch this morning

I am just so happy

8 eggs today. One of the new girls keeps laying her egg outside on top of the wire lid to a cage & the egg keeps rollling off & cracking on the ground!

Back to collecting eggs! 8/14 yesterday. Still waiting for the pullets to mature more. Their combs are still pink.

4 chicken and 1 duck so far. Should get 2 or 3 more later in the day, Not sure if my "special" girl has began laying or not. She may never lay.
