How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I just found 2 more eggs in the run. That bumps it up to 7 eggs today. Though I probably should count more of those to yesterday.

I didn't get to check after 1pm yesterday so many are probably from then.

Their feed was changed to a different brand at the beginning of the week, maybe that caused the brief drop in production or maybe the hens are just dealing with the weather swings.

Oh I've created a monster I think. We took some birds to a new forever home today and the lady had 30 assorted hens but no roosters. Now she has 2 of those

but as I was saying husband saw the colors and fell in love. More chicks will be added soon

Technically I am 11/14 have one brahma sitting in nest cant tell if she is there to rest or planning on leaving on a egg

So did find the 12th so officially 12/14 two that are huge slackers

9/14 but again I had a shell-less one. I put game cams in the coop to see if I can figure out who is (or isn't) laying what and who doesn't know how to produce a shell.

Shoot guys. I've figured out how to get my birds to lay

just let a dog scare the CRAP out of them. I haven't had eggs in a few days when suddenly I lose 4 to a dog. Then next thing I know within 24 hours I've got 11 eggs
