Both in the nest boxes this time. 1 brown and 1 white. Still no proof of who is laying.

Cool weather is a relative term, with temps in the high 90's and heat indexes in the 100's we feel pretty darn hot! But, it is cool compared to your temperatures!!

Makes it harder for some to go out side for very long but being night time now I am chasing off several coyotes at the moment so I am sure they will return before sunrise and the coyotes do need to be downed on my side of the fence just the rules of engagement under California fish and game Laws .......

Good luck in your battle against the coyotes. I found a smallish opossum in 1 run eating chicken food this evening when I went out to lock up.
