Temp 57F most of the day with a soft breeze, I got lucky today as the roads are drying out so I can drive around .

That's great!!! Mine are just starting out but I'm not getting near the 50% you are getting. I'm giving them another hour to lay before i go out and check.

My chicks are 12 1/2 weeks old! Getting closer to when they will hopefully start on laying their first eggs!

5 eggs. 1 from 'Ol Red, 1 from Braveheart and the other three from my August flock, not sure who layed which though, two were identical in size, color and shade the other came size and color, just a little paler. There's a good chance one of the darker blue ones is Smokey's, she's been squatting for me every time I open the gate to the pen for the last couple of weeks. The other two..?
