How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I had one, but a crow got it.

How did a crow get it?
I have 4 but on broke, 1 from the new coop

I put off going and getting it,i knew it was there but i got distracted and when I went to get it the egg was gone. I know it was a crow,its always a crow.

ahh we have a few crows but so far they stay out of my coops as far as I know think I would be looking for crow soup

13 eggs yesterday.

13 eggs today. I think I need more sleep. Forgot to let the chickens out in the big barn this morning. I let everyone else out though. Didn't even realize what I hadn't done until I got home this evening and wondered why the chickens from that coop had all gone to bed so early. Well, it was because all of their exit doors were still closed and locked. Oh, well, they survived. They sure were thirsty though!

I keep water In the coops Incase I don't get up or someone forgets to do something when I'm away.

I use to keep water in the coop but then I learned that all that extra moisture contributes too frostbite in the winter, so I took the waterers out of the coops.
11 eggs today.

0 here today no one gave me even a broken egg
went out at 7:15 full dark to close birds in there was 1 in each coop so 2
for the close
