Got 2 more today 1 of which I am sure is Cornish from the light color- almost cream in color.
Also not laid in the nest... Crazy hings want to lay up high.

Oh, and today I added 2 barred rock 8 week olds to my tiny flock.
So I have 2 laying Buff Orpingtons, 1-14 week old Easter Egger, 1-14 week old Silver Lace Wyandotte, and now 2- 8 week old Barred Rock. Oh yeah, and Roopecca, my Lavender Orpington Rooster. Gotta stop adding till next year.

Saw Cornish laying today while adjusting things, laid soft shelled egg, but still a new layer so will give a few more tries before increasing calcium.
That brings total for today up to 5 out of 7.

Thanks, wife’s doing better just having some problems with knees and hip and still have bruises. Drs. said tendon traumas takes more time to heal than if she had broken bones and skin. Now we’re still looking for a cheap good car, since she doesn’t have one, the rental car privileges had elapsed after over a month.
