THREE today!
2 from 2018 pullets, one from a 2017 EE. That makes 2 EEs that have laid in the last week. SO WIERD! They have never laid as non pullets in December before.

So appears 8 main coop taking dogs back out soon will look on silky may end up with 3 cockerel they are raising wanted a few more but may go for marans peeps again ???

OK so now I've hit a week and with the pouring rain and kid dramas / parties / end of school etc my poor Hermione is still in the main coop with dirty random eggs. Too late to mix the 6 inside or should I take the ones she is on out and put the 6 in all together or leave her what she has and just see what happens?

Got FOUR today. Must have been all the extra daylight, you think?
Angel (2015 White Rock, first egg since 9/26. Didn't lay between 10/29 and 1/25 last year), Cassie, Aria and Vienna
Maybe they know DD1 and her BF have been using a lot of eggs in their baking.

So it was all just a complicated mess, I was so worried that the eggs (now porbably up to 9 days old) that I had stashed wouldn't be good to go so what I have done is left her with 8 or 9 eggs that she had under her (figure this is pretty normal in nature), took the ones from the front that she coulnd't fit (another 4) and moved her into a cleaned out safe broody coop! Fingers crossed! Sorry been a bit AWOL been off for my brothers wedding in Wales last weekend, found a cool 60s style dress - it was cold and wet so was pleased to have something I could wear thick tights with - original plan was a 40's style dress but would have had to have sheer tights and dainty shoes!:

Wedding was amazing!

Just finished getting the presents under the tree and the father Christmas bags sorted so must to bed.
