OMG I'd be peeing myself with excitement!!!!!! Managed to have a very cold here this morning (was between -6 and -9c (15-21f) when I ran my middle to the bus as he missed his little bus) but clear so no snow as usual!
Thank you. We're monitoring the flock to see if we need to make adjustments. They've been together for two years. Now that they're with us, they have lots of room to spread out (hen house as well as fenced garden). Seven of the hens are loyal to the silver laced wyandotte (who is the wonderful alpha rooster). One of the blue wheaten hens is in love with the blue wheaten rooster. The blue laced red wyandotte rooster (2nd in rooster order) likes to chase the blue wheaten rooster. So far, we don't feel the need to rehome anyone, but we will monitor closely.
