Well Vienna did lay that egg. Now I have NO idea who laid the other. DW made a brilliant observation: "it is brown". Yeah, thanks. I have 3 that lay white (when they are laying), 3 that lay greenish/bluish (when they are laying) and 13 that lay brown (when they are laying). I know some that are not candidates, their eggs are obvious based on size, color and shininess (or lack thereof). rats.

We reached a temperature high today of 5 deg. F.....that didn't stop the girls. So far 7 eggs, from 11 hens. The girls are going strong.

Got 35 eggs today guess a few needed a rest and a couple more started up and it was gloomy today go figure.

We got 9 eggs today. School was cancelled today because we having temps in the -30's with the windchill!!! The actual low was -4 (before wind chill).
We interrupt this broadcast with breaking news.....
they just cancelled school for tomorrow too.

It's snowing now and the roads and a disaster.
