Just watched the video - really nice to see it can be done with so little 'stuff' I'm going to get hubby to make me a cone or borrow the neighbours though as I think it will be so much easier!

4 today but the girls have been busy. Sold 2 dozen eggs and have nearly 3 dozen left. Gotta state making things that take a lot of eggs.

@PouleChick I've tried the cone and the "hanging noose". I prefer the hanging noose. I made a hangman's knot in one end and slip it over their feet. Then I hang the other end from a screw in a tree ( if I did it again, I'd put a hook in the tree instead of a screw). I've found that some of my birds are too big to fit in the cone. Plus, the ones that do fit, tend to pull their head up inside the cone and it's harder to pull their head back out and maneuver the knife. (Just my opinion). I suggest trying it both ways and seeing which way you find easier.
@Spartan22 did you get much snow yesterday or today? We are supposed to get 4 to 6 inches on Sunday.
