How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

A measly 7 yesterday that included the soft leghorn egg. First time since my flock disasters in May were resolved in June that I’m under 50% lay rate. Everyone is acting ok so I’m sticking with fall and molting. Cinders has been acting very standoffish the past week but not in a sick way. She’s always been super flighty and had gotten more so since I’ve been spending less and less time with them.

15 eggs today. I hate when I find a squished chick. Now that I have turkeys that happens more often. I think the turkeys just don't pay attention when they go into the coop to eat and the chicks don't know to get out of the way. This summer was the first time I have had that problem.
