I got 9 again today

Well okay I will admit there was one lash egg on the table when I cleaned them nope no photo I went ah crud put some earth on it and scraped it

It is a Coturnix Quail that laid the infamous egg!
But it was put into the carton for incubation in the next week or so!
She was moved from the "kill" pen into a "breeder/layer" pen! So her future looks brighter since she laid that egg.

My eggs today.... add 2 more quail eggs. Total 7 quail & 4 chickens! Good job ladies!

I got 6 eggs again today
1 blue from Caren and 5 tan eggs! It’s safe to assume Pip, Blue, Pearl, and Terry are all laying. I’m unsure about the two frizzles, one acted broody for two days and is back to sleeping on the roost with the rest of them.. The third Ameraucana, well it’s still a mystery if she’s actually laying or not

I got 10 eggs from the girls today! 4 were from the older girls, 1 from 2015, 1 from 2017 and 2 from 2018. I'm not complaining but I sure am surprised by those girls laying at this time of year.

Big, fat zero from my eight girls today! Again...

Seven are just finishing up their first adult molt, so it shouldn’t be too much longer before I get a couple eggs. Lily was hatched on 23 May of last year and hasn’t yet laid her first egg, but she started squatting this week. She’s getting really cranky too and her face is red, so she’s thinking about it.
