I have 12 tonight from big girls, 2 from silkie coop

49 eggs today
Four got busted though, I sat the basket of eggs on my steps while I moved my garden hose, and one of my puppies found it. She was happily tossing eggs in the air trying to get them to bounce like her ball does....

Forgot to post yesterday , 6 outta 6 again . The barred rocks and my blue egger are starting to lay later in the day so they will probably take a day off soon .

Your BO will probably be the first one to lay, EE can take forever. My Orpingtons started around 22/23 weeks. But the EE didn't start until closer to 28/30 weeks. Hang in there!

Everyone in my household... dogs, cats, chickens, even my grandkids, freeze like deer in headlights when they see a camera.
The only one I can ever get a decent picture or video of is my rooster, MoJo. He's a real ham for the camera

My last EE still hasn’t laid an egg and she is past 42 weeks! I’m going to give her 10 more weeks then call it quits for her.
