7 out of 8 if you count the soft shell I found squished in a nest. Really need that girl to eat more oyster shell.

I would have had 5 of 8, except 2 got eaten. It was warm today and they act sporatic due to molting/weather fluctuation and if they get board or not.

My Maran (28weeks) laid her first egg this am, with my Ee who can’t ever seem to make it left her daily egg deposit on the dropping board and another ee laid in the box. So far I’ve gotten 3 but sill expect 2 more from my buffs.

winter seems like a silly time to molt...dont they need those feathers for warmth?

the "hidden nest" had 2 more eggs in it today so I guess someones using it again!
