How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 eggs! We’ve been getting none or 1 for more than a month. Getting 2 in one day is a serious improvement! Either someone got spray booth upgrades during the molt OR I have a new pullet laying. I’ll attach a pic and let everyone make their own judgement. I’ve never seen an egg this dark from my older girls.

3 out of 8, not including the thin one that was broken in a nest. That girl has been laying thin shells every day, at this rate I’m going to run out of wood shavings. Yet, she has no interest in oyster shell.

I’m getting two eggs every day from two of my pullets. It’s been several weeks now, it’s the weirdest thing! Today’s weighed 71 and 80 grams! The large grocery store eggs are around 56.

Zero. Zero for a long time now.
My last 2 hold outs are molting so I get nothing from the chickens.
While my pullets are still quite young I am seeing color in 2 combs. They are just 13 weeks old so I do not expect anything anytime soon.

I got four eggs today! The fourth one is from a new layer from today, one of my Silkies at 28 1/2 weeks! Hopefully her two hatchmates aren’t far behind.
That’s 4 out of 11 now!
