Out of that many chickens, my question is, how did you determine which ones to sell? You obviously chose well because your numbers aren’t way of from before. That’s a lot of chicken watching!

CORRECT its a lot of watching. I have 3 partition in my coop so i put the most promising one's in one and the less in the other and the one's am not sure of i put them in the 3rd partion so over time(i strated a month early before i sold them) i shuffle them around but am not gonna lie i have sold around 5 that wer just about to start laying cuz the people i sold them to said they found eggs inside when they slaughtered them. But i got so good at identifying layers thanks to one BYC memeber thank sent me a very helpful article

7. That broody is bringing my crew down. Why does that happen? Again, more chicken watching. As soon as I break a broody, egg numbers go back up.

8, but I dropped the carton on the way to the fridge and only 2 were unscathed. I had to toss one and the rest are dented pretty good, so I’ll probably give them back to the chickens in the morning.

Because the broodies chase everybody else away from the boxes and try to convince the others to go broody.
