Oh man,that almost looks like something bit her or she got hung up on something. that looks a bit older though like i's healing up. Is there any pussy runny or anything coming from it? Any odors?

2, one is no longer broody but still not laying. Weather been fairly nice too. THe other one, she's hit or miss but 3 or 4 years old so I give her the benefit of the doubt.

No, it’s very flaky, no odor or puss.. Broody was one of my first thoughts before the swelling and waddling, and not eating. So now I’m giving her antibiotics I just love her and don’t want to lose her.

They really are very sweet birds! Faverolles were my gateway chickens! Very easy to have and easy to love! Not very productive though and compared to my brown leghorn and Isa Browns they seem clumsy and helpless. The cutest thing is that Tezza, the 5 year old knows her name. She can be out doing whatever and when I call her I can see her head come up quick and look at me. Not that she cares what I want her to do!

I have faverolles too. They are the sweetest, cutest things ever. I wouldn't say mine are clumsy, but they are diffidently at the bottom of the pecking order.
