How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

9 so far this AM. I've not walked the pasture for hidden nests yet, and still have plenty of daylight left.

We are getting one egg, some days none, from 4 hens. One of our girls has retired from the egg laying business (she is 8+) but the other 3 are still young.
Any ideas on why or advice?

I have10 pullets (hatched July 2022) and 4 older girls, 1 rooster. My egg count has been increasing for about 2 weeks. Today i braved winter storm warning, sleet/freezing rain to gather eggs.
14 from 14! Woo hoo!

Now 12. Was hoping for more, but not terrible for a mixed flock with some aging girls, some of whomw are not particularly prolific even when young (Brahma, SLWs, I'm looking at you!)

I was expecting 1, and the hen who would have laid it was in the nest for awhile. But nope, zero.

5 (including this hen) have red combs and wattles. Blame it on Midnight. Blame it on the Bossanova. Out of song titles. Blame it on the effect of sunspots on Terre Haute, Indiana.

I don't know what's going on. They look and act healthy. That's more important.
