Give a dozen to the neighbors every week. We eat probably 2 dozen a week ourselves. Guess who brings deviled eggs to every party?

I FINALLY got 3 green eggs from my 3 EEs!! I've been waiting all winter for her! I got 9/11 yesterday only 7/11 today. But I'm happy to have extras made a great frittata since they're laying more now. Looks like deviled eggs for pot luck Sunday!

Still only one but Martha gave me a lovely curtsey today and her comb is getting a lot redder. No sign that the June babies will lay soon though.

Looks like I’m going to finish up the day with 14. Crazy weather has me plugging in water heaters and unplugging them every other day. Hit 68 yesterday and low is 24 tonight

Had a long day and girls were tucked on the roost when I finally got outside. They must’ve had a party. Feeder knocked over with crumble everywhere , and of course my OE laid in the corner where the two roost bars meet. That was a fun egg to stretch and get with 4 hens wondering what the heck I was doing underneath them. But…eight eggs out of 10! I’m home tomorrow so they’ll get extra outside the run time.

Got 8 but should have been 10. Found egg shell and a wet yellow spot in 2 different nests today. SILLY GIRLS. Don't they know if I catch them eating their eggs I am gonna eat them.
